- DONE! Rename the East Dedham Passive Park in Honor of William B. Gould.
- DONE! Teach the William B. Gould Story in Dedham’s Schools. The Dedham Public Schools now teach the Gould story in the 1st, 5th, and 10th grades.
Support the William B. Gould Memorial
To honor the memory and tell the story of a remarkable man who overcame overwhelming odds, served in the United States Navy with honor, and served as a civic leader for decades in Dedham.
In the summer of 2020, as statues around the country were toppled, we came together to build up our community by preserving the memory of a worthy Dedhamite. The effort has expanded to not only build a statue, but to rename a public park in his honor and to teach his story in schools.
